ImDisk Toolkit is a small free utility created to mount disk image files and also to create RAMDisk (disco RAM).
After installing the app, will create multiple shortcuts. We are interested in two: “Configurar RamDisk” Y “Mount image file”. The first is the tool to convert part or parts of the RAM into a virtual hard disk and give you access to it; while the second is the tool to mount image files on virtual drives.

RAM is volatile memory, which means that you will lose all your data once you turn off your computer. But if you need temporary storage space or use a series of files at any given time, you can use RAM storage as if it were a hard disk.

To perform emulation, just choose the image file, specify drive letter, the type of device (HDD, CD / DVD o Floppy) and press the button “OK”. From here you can enter the virtual drive and you will be ready to enter the content of the image file.
Undoubtedly, a tool that, thanks to the fact that you can mount disk files in folders, will have no limitations when virtual drive letters run out.
