Chat with your Facebook friends from your PC
Facebook Messenger para PC is a universal app for UWP, available only for Windows 10/8 in the Microsoft store, with which you will no longer have to enter the web Facebook.com or Messenger.com to communicate with your friends or family.
The application shares the same features as its mobile and web version, including GIF, notifications, dark mode and latest Messenger Rooms feature.
After downloading and installing Messenger for Windows 10, just log in to your Facebook account (or log in with your email or phone number) and start chatting with your friends or start video chats.
At the same time, since it runs in its own window, no longer have to deal with browser tabs or get lost in endless Facebook feed.
Messenger Rooms: unlimited group video calls
To deal with Zoom and other video conferencing applications, Facebook has incorporated the new Messenger Rooms tool.
In the same way as Skype, this function will allow you make free and unlimited group video calls with up to 50 people (including you).
Rooms is enabled not only within the computer application, but also in the Facebook web portal and in its applications for mobile phones.
When creating a room, you have control of everything. Namely, you can determine who can see and join the room. You can even lock a room so that no one else can enter and delete people from the call.
Messenger Rooms allows you to open the room to your friends from the social network or share a unique link so anyone can join (even if you don't have a Facebook account).
If you enable the room for your friends, will be posted at the top of your Facebook feed so you can easily join. The idea is that your friends and family enter and leave the rooms spontaneously.
And what is more, with Messenger Desktop you can use the effects and filters of augmented reality to change your face, put enveloping funds 360 Y, in general, make video calling more fun on your PC.
Unfortunately, Messenger rooms do not have end-to-end encryption.
